Our proven Six-Step Program is designed to keep your lawn healthy and thriving, through a series of timely applications of professional-grade products. After each visit your certified technician will leave behind an invoice with special instructions. We take pride in our work and offer free service calls with Six-Step Program enrollment; if you have any concerns we will return to your lawn as many times as it takes, at no charge, to ensure your satisfaction.
Step one includes granular fertilizer with pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control. This application provides your lawn the nutrients needed to promote an early spring green-up while preventing weeds and crabgrass from germinating. Spot spraying of broadleaf weeds is also done at this time.
Step two includes a second granular fertilizer with pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control. This application keeps your lawn fed and continues to prevent weed and crabgrass populations. Spot spraying of broadleaf weeds is also done at this time.
Step three includes a broadleaf weed control application. Some types of weeds and grassy-weeds may require an additional treatment. Please refer to "Additional Treatments" for more details.
Step four includes granular lime to combat acidity in your lawn’s soil and to enhance the effectiveness of upcoming fertilizer applications. Step four can be done in conjunction with Aeration and Seeding.
Step five includes granular fertilizer to keep your lawn fed as it recovers from summer stress. Core aeration and seeding can be done in conjunction with step five.
Step six includes nitrogen-rich granular fertilizer to strengthen your lawn as the cold season approaches. This winterizing formula helps lawns store more nutrients, encouraging thick and rapid turf growth and vigorous rooting in the spring.
Your lawn care technician may recommend additional treatments to ensure your lawn and landscape remain healthy and thriving. Below are the most commonly recommended additional treatments.
Our insect control program will protect your lawn from unwelcome pests including ants, fleas and ticks. Three long-lasting applications provide protection to your lawn, beds, and home perimeter from late spring through fall.
Our local summer climate can leave your lawn susceptible to fungus. Your lawn may require multiple fungicide treatments in order to prevent or minimize turf damage.
Our six-step lawn care program guarantees broadleaf weed control; however, some difficult to control weeds such as sedge, crabgrass, and violets may require additional treatments in order to eliminate or reduce populations.
Insects and disease can also damage your landscape. Your Cypress Creek Lawn Care technician is trained to identify and treat insect and disease problems with your ornamental trees and shrubs.
A few grubs in a lawn is nothing to worry about, however a heavy infestation can lead to severe turf damage by the time they are noticed. Cypress Creek Lawn Care offers a preventative grub treatment in order to stop grub populations from reaching critical levels.
Recommended each fall in addition to the six-step program , core aeration and seeding is the most efficient way to thicken your lawn. First we use a 300 lb machine to remove finger sized plugs, 4 inches apart, throughout your entire lawn. This relieves compaction in your lawn's soil and allows air, water, and nutrients access to your lawn's root system. Next we spread certified tall fescue grass seed specifically grown for our climate. Watering instructions will be provided for maximum results.
